PA in '71, (chair Theater Arts Dept.) to develop a major, leading to a BA
degree in theater arts. The curriculum was approved by the PA State Dept. of
Ed. in 1980. Because of inflation the theater building had to be funded by the
PA Legislature three times. After long struggles, the theater arts facility
where all theater classes, productions & other related activities will be
held, was dedicated May 8, 1996. "This 25-year accomplishment was indeed
gratifying as it was the first fulfillment of a life long dream," writes
Prof. Bagley. At the 25th reunion of the Class of 1943 on the campus, she
co-led the initial stirrings for a renewed & revitalized LS Alumni
Association. A new association of met in Ft Wayne for the first time in the
early 1970s, with considerable input from Marion. Featured with sister Coretta,
in the book, Sisters, along with 36 sets of other sisters (October
1994). The book was published in 1994, & was on the N.Y. Times best
seller list for many months, beginning December 1994. Ed. The Lincoln School
