Step 4 - A Simple Approach to Calorie Control
COLOR YOUR DIET!
Fruits and vegetables get their colors from natural pigments. Though pigments are not vitamins or minerals, they are essential to good health.
Also, most fruits and vegetables have comparatively low calorie counts.
Try putting something of every color on your plate!
If you do, you will be likely to eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables every day.
The colors to think about are deep reds, sunshine yellows, bright oranges, dark greens, and blue/purples.
